PhotoIreland - 60 Years - Stories of Survival and Safe Heavens Exhibit

I had the pleasure and honor to work with an amazing group of friends and photographers for a great cause: Celebrating 60 Years of the UNHCR. For this, all of us, the Irish Lightstalkers, shot refugees in Ireland.
This one was my photos of Alvaro and Memo. Two Chilean brothers who came to Dublin in the early 70s with their family escaping Pinochet's regime. 37 years later, they are still here and have a family of their own. It was such a pleasure to hear their stories and work with them.
You can see more photos of the event here.
ATTENTION TO THOSE IN DUN LAOGHAIRE: UNHCR's "60 Years - Stories of Survival and Safe Haven" photo exhibition in which I take part along with the Irish Lightstalkers, is on display as part of Social Inclusion Week in Dún Laoghaire. It will run from 10am-4pm daily until Friday in the Pop Up Shop in Park House, Upper George’s St (beside the People’s Park). Hope you can go see it and enjoy it!
